My name is Martin, I am 23 years old and I live in the best city in the world: Edinburgh!
I am a young lawyer and I am in the process of taking my first few steps as a trainee solicitor at a large commercial law firm. I am an avid football fan and unwaveringly follow my local team, Livingston. In my spare time I enjoy reading, enjoying a few drinks in a pub with friends and, of course, writing.
This blog is the big brother of Ramblings of a Teenager - hence the name. I have been writing blog posts for a while now to varying degrees of success and interest. At the top of this page there is a link to my old blog, which was certainly a much more candid affair than here!
I enjoy writing about my travel experiences, music, books, sport and everything in between. I also plan to write a few things about my experiences as a young lawyer entering the 'real world' for the first time - I am sure there will be no shortage of water from that well.
